Esteemed veteran actress Nirmal Rishi, celebrated for her contributions to the Punjabi film industry, was honored with the Padma Shri award.
Rishi was presented with the award by President Droupadi Murmu during a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. Following the event, Nirmal Rishi expressed her joy and recounted her initial reaction upon receiving the news of the honor.
