Marking a major milestone for Indian cinema, Emraan Hashmi’s latest film Ground Zero has become the first movie in nearly four decades to receive a red carpet premiere in Srinagar.
Entirely shot in the breathtaking landscapes of Kashmir, Ground Zero brings to screen a powerful real-life story rooted in the Valley itself. Emraan Hashmi steps into the role of BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, the man who led the high-stakes mission to eliminate the notorious militant leader Ghazi Baba.
For context, Ghazi Baba was a senior figure in the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and also served as deputy commander of Harkat-ul-Ansar.
