Pollywood writer and actor Prince Kanwaljit Singh who is known for his latest film 'Panchhi', has now announced a new Punjabi web series titled, ‘Pind Chaka De Shikaari’. Kanwaljit took to his Instagarm to share the first-look poster of the series. The series, presented by Chaupal Studios stars Guggu Gill, Ashish Duggal and Sukhwinder Chahal as the lead cast. It will be directed by Maneesh Bhatt while Prince Kanwaljit Singh has written the series.

Punjabi singer-actor Gurnam Bhullar took to his social media account to share the first look poster of his upcoming film, Kokka. The film stars Neeru Bajwa in the lead role along with Gurnam. The movie will hit theatres on May 20, 2022. Neeru Bajwa too shared the poster, adding to which she wrote- “Bebe Sach Kehndi aa, Pyaar di koi umar ni hundi...May 20,2022” (mother used to say it right, there is no age for love).

Celebrated filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj is teaming up with Netflix for a spy thriller film, titled "Khufiya", the streamer announced. Produced and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the movie will feature his frequent collaborator Tabu as well as actors Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ashish Vidyarthi. "Khufiya" is inspired by true events and based on the popular espionage novel "Escape to Nowhere" by Amar Bhushan, Netflix said in a press release.

One person was injured when a portion of a room of the house of the son of legendary wrestler and Bollywood actor, the late Dara Singh, collapsed in Sector 4 Chandigarh on September 17. A JCB machine was used in the rescue operation and worker was taken out from underneath the slab around 2 pm and rushed to the PGI for treatment. At the time of the incident no one was present in the house. House owner Amrik Singh Radhawa, son of Bollywood actor Dara Singh, had left for Mumbai immediately after he got the news.

He also visited the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi to seek the blessings for the 'shabad'. Talking about the 'shabad', Aparshakti said: 'Chaupai Sahib' is very close to my heart. Punjabi singers Karan Aujla, Harjit Harman and music company Speed Records have been summoned by the Punjab State Women Commission in regard to Karan’s latest song ‘Sharab’ in his music album ‘BacTHAfucUP’. A case has been filed by social activist Pandit Rao, while Manisha Gulati, the Chairperson of the Women’s Commission has made a complaint. As per Rao, the song ‘Sharab’ passes some misleading remarks on women by comparing them to alcohol.
