Oscar winner producer Guneet Monga and celebrity chef Vikas Khanna have co-produced an animated short film, American Sikhs. This film is based on the life of Vishavjit Singh, a Sikh man facing racism. American Sikh, the film has already won many awards including Best Short Animation at the Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham, Grand Jury Award for the Best Short Documentary at Tasveer Film Festival, Seattle.

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi group has claimed responsibility for a shooting incident at Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal’s residence in North Vancouver, Canada. The incident involved firing warning shots. Bishnoi later went on his Facebook page to share a post wherein he took the responsibility for the incident and also added that this was his warning to Gippy Grewal to stop praising Salman Khan. Internationally famed artist Diljit Dosanjh took to his social media account to share details about his upcoming world tour. The musical tour titled Dil-Luminati will take place at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver on April 27, 2024. Live Nation Canada is producer of this show in Canada. Punjabi actor Karamjit Anmol took to his social media account to share the first look poster of his upcoming film as a producer, Laavaan Phere 2. Social activist Prof Pandit Rao has registered a complaint against the singer for allegedly promoting weapons in his recent song 'Zameen Da Rola'. Popular film director Rohit Jugraj Chauhan of Jatt James Bond fame took to his social media account to share the teaser of his upcoming series Chamak. Chamak is a story of a young artist whose father, a renowned singer, was tragically shot during a live performance.
