Veteran actor Surekha Sikri passed away on Friday morning. She suffered a cardiac arrest. The news of Sikri's demise has been confirmed by her manager. Sikri was 75 when she breathed her last in Mumbai. In 2020, she had suffered a brain stroke and in 2018, she had gotten a paralytic stroke. The news of Sikri's demise has saddened everyone. In 2019, she had received the National Film Award for her role in the film 'Badhaai Ho' (2018). She was last seen in Netflix's 'Ghost Stories' (2020).

Punjabi singer-actor Amrit Mann took to his social media account to share the first-look poster of his upcoming Punjabi film, Hakam. Amrit's on screen character's name in the film is Babbar. The film is written and directed by Amar Hundal. The release date of the film is yet to be announced. Besides this movie, Amrit Maan will also be seen in yet another upcoming film titled ‘Gunaah’ with Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

After announcing the launch of her production house Outsiders Films on Thursday, Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu has now unveiled the first look of her banner's first production venture 'Blurr'. The news of their relationship surfaced online after a restaurant in Goa shared a few pictures of Kim and Leander Paes spending quality time with each other at a beach. In one of the images, the two can be seen having a meal together at Pousada by the Beach restaurant. Punjabi sufi singer Manmeet Singh apparently died after slipping and falling into a rivulet in the Kareri lake area of Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, police said on Wednesday. The body of one-half of Punjab's famed Sain brothers was recovered from the Kareri lake area on Tuesday evening. According to McLeod Ganj Police SHO, Vipin Kumar, the singer and his friends had gone to two groups to the lake area above Mcleodganj in Dharamshala and had apparently slipped and fallen into the lake crossing a rivulet.

Actor Dia Mirza has been blessed with a baby boy. Dia took to Instagram to share the news with her fans. She also revealed that her son, whom he shares with businessman Vaibhav Rekhi, was born prematurely and is currently being cared for in a Neonatal ICU. Also, her son, Avyaan Azaad Rekhi, was born on May 14. Dia and Vaibhav tied the knot in February this year.
