The upcoming Hollywood horror film, 'The Vigil', is all set to release digitally in India on July 9. PictureWorks has acquired the rights to the movie, which stars Dave Davis, Menashe Lustig and Malky Goldman. Developed under the Blumhouse Productions banner, 'The Vigil' will be out on Amazon Prime Video in original English version with Hindi language version. It is written and directed by Keith Thomas.

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar, best known as Tragedy King, is no more. Dilip Kumar died on Wednesday morning at Mumbai's PD Hinduja Hospital. He was 98. The news of his demise is confirmed by Dr Jaleel Parkar, Pulmonologist, who was treating the veteran actor. The upcoming 'Game of Thrones' prequel series titled 'House of the Dragon' at HBO has cast actors Milly Alcock and Emily Carey in recurring roles. According to Variety, the prequel will be set a few hundred years prior to the events of 'Game of Thrones' and tells the story of House Targaryen and the Targaryen civil war that became known as the "Dance of the Dragons." HBO has given 'House of the Dragon' a 10-episode order with an eye toward a 2022 debut.

Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino recently on a podcast announced that he has purchased Los Angeles' historic Sunset Boulevard venue Vista Theatre. Tarantino had bought the Landmark New Beverly in 2007. That venue, which shows 35mm and 16mm films, reopened last month.
