Israel attacks Yemeni port city, Houthi rebels say
Israel attacked docks in Yemen’s port city of Hodeida on Tuesday, the Houthi rebels said.The Houthis announced the attack via their al-Masirah satellite news channel.
They said the attack targeted docks there, without elaborating.There was no immediate acknowledgment of the attack from Israel.

Small plane crashes into ocean off San Diego with 6 people aboard
Authorities are investigating after a small plane crashed into the ocean 5 miles (8 kilometers) off the coast near San Diego with six people aboard.
U.S. Coast Guard officials said a debris field was discovered near Point Loma Sunday afternoon and began searching for the wreckage in an area where the water is about 200 feet (61 meters) deep.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the twin-engine Cessna 414 crashed around 12:30 p.m. Sunday not long after it took off. Flight tracking website, Flightaware.com, showed that the plane was bound for Phoenix.

Trump's new travel ban takes effect amid escalating tension over immigration enforcement
President Donald Trump's new ban on travel to the U.S. by citizens from 12 mainly African and Middle Eastern countries took effect on Monday.
The new proclamation, which Trump signed on Wednesday, also imposes new travel restrictions on people from seven additional countries who are outside the U.S. and don't have a valid visa.

Carney and Li agree to regularize communication between Canada and China
Prime Minister Mark Carney and Chinese Premier Li Qiang have agreed to regularize channels of communication between the two countries. A readout from Carney's office also says the leaders committed to working together to address the fentanyl crisis.

Two Canadians among seven men arrested in Australia over massive drugs bust
Investigative agencies in Australia have arrested 7 people, including two Canadians, in a drug trafficking case. It is alleged that the gang was using trusted people in Australia to help in the smuggling of drugs such as cocaine and methamphetamine.

213 prisoners escape from Malir Jail in Karachi, Pakistan
At least 213 prisoners escaped from Malir Jail in Karachi, Pakistan on Monday night. According to the jail administration, the prisoners were evacuated from the barracks as a precaution after the earthquake tremors in Karachi.
