At least 10 people were taken to hospital after a shooting at a lakeside gathering near Oklahoma City on Sunday night, according to police.

Edmond Police spokesperson Emily Ward said officers received multiple reports of gunfire around 9 p.m. near Arcadia Lake, where a group of young people had gathered. According to Ward, emergency crews transported 10 victims to hospital, while additional individuals may have sought medical care on their own.

Ward said the victims were in “various conditions,” but did not provide further details on the severity of injuries. Police have not released information about a suspect or suspects, and it is not clear what led to the shooting.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing. It was not immediately known whether any arrests had been made. Police have not issued public safety guidance but are asking anyone with information to contact investigators.
