WestJet, Air North announce deal for single-ticket travel involving both airlines
WestJet and Whitehorse-based Air North have announced a new agreement that will allow single-ticket travel across both airlines' networks.
A statement from WestJet says the new "interline agreement" allows passengers to book a single ticket with a connected itinerary between WestJet's network and the Yukon and Northwest Territories.

Two dead in crash of 'homebuilt amphibious' plane near Merritt, B.C.
Police say two people are dead after an amateur-built plane crashed north of the Merritt, B.C. airport, about 270 kilometres northeast of Vancouver.
Merritt RCMP say emergency personnel responded to a report of the crash on Sunday evening and found the pilot and passenger had died.
The Mounties describe the two-seat aircraft as being "homebuilt" and "amphibious."
The say the plane was two kilometres from the airport when it went down east of Highway 5A.
The Transportation Safety Board said it would deploy a team of investigators to look into the crash.

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland says Canada has "serious concerns" about Sunday's election results in Venezuela.

Amritpal Singh's brother and his partner came out of jail
Amritpal Singh's brother Harpreet Singh and his accomplice Lovepreet Singh, who were arrested in a drug case by the Punjab Police, have come out of jail.

Excise policy case: CBI files charge sheet against Arvind Kejriwal
