Police in Abbotsford, B.C. are investigating after a young man was killed in a stabbing at the city's Larch Park on Sunday night. Officers were called just after 7:30 p.m. for a report of a stabbing at Larch Park, located in the 2600 block of Beck Road. They found a male youth suffering from critical, life-threatening injuries, but despite quick efforts by bystanders and first responders, the victim died of his wounds. Police say they arrested two youth suspects and believe this was a targeted attack. Larch Park is currently shut down to the public due to an ongoing police presence. The Abbots

An Israeli airstrike on a school-turned-shelter in the Gaza Strip has killed at least 25 people, mostly women and children, according to the territory’s Health Ministry. Police in Edmonton say a motorcycle rider died while trying to pass a car on the city's western outskirts on Saturday evening. Police say the Harley-Davidson was travelling north on Winterburn Road, but while attempting to pass an Acura, the car slowed and made a left-hand turn. The motorcycle collided with the driver's side of the car, sending the 26-year-old and his bike into the northwest ditch. Police say speed is believed to have been a factor in the collision.

The driver of a B-M-W has died after police in Edmonton say the vehicle lost control and smashed into a tree. Police say it happened around 3:15 a-m yesterday on 142 Street near 90 Avenue. The driver was the only person in the vehicle and was declared dead at the scene. Police say speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.

King Charles and Queen Camilla will touch down in Ottawa today to kick off an historic royal tour. The trip marks the royals' first visit to Canada since the King's coronation two years ago. The Canada Revenue Agency is cutting up to 280 permanent employees in response to fiscal constraints. The workforce changes will impact branches across the CRA but the reductions will mainly impact employees in the National Capital Region. Tim Hodgson told a Calgary Chamber of Commerce event that it's time for a reset and major projects need to get done in a more timely matter.
