Former President Donald Trumpsaid he believesabortionshould be left to the states in a video released Monday morning outlining his position after months of mixed messages and speculation.
“Many people have asked me what my position is on abortion and abortion rights," Trump said in the video posted on his Truth Social site. “My view is now that we have abortion where everybody wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote or legislation or perhaps both. And whatever they decide must be the law of the land in this case, the law of the state."

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has met Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman. While the two leaders discussed the war between Hamas and Israel, there was also a discussion about India.

1 police officer killed and 6 others wounded in grenade attack at a mosque in southwestern Pakistan
A police officer died and six other officers were wounded in a grenade attack at a mosque in southwestern Pakistan, authorities said.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack near Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan province. Local police chief Nasir Shah said officers were still investigating. In a statement, Interior Minister Mohsin

Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar President Simranjit Singh Mann has today announced candidates for three more seats of Punjab in his second list for the Lok Sabha elections.
From Amritsar, he has given ticket to his son Iman Singh Mann, while from Ferozepur seat, former Punjab Police Inspector Bhupinder Singh Bhullar has been made the candidate.

Toxic drug supply claims 177 lives in B.C. in February: Coroners Service
The BC Coroners Service says 177 people died in February due to "toxic, unregulated drugs."
The service says at least 175 people have died because of the toxic drug supply in each of the last 20 consecutive months.
It says the latest numbers are down 11 per cent compared with February 2023, but the province still saw an average of about six deaths per day this past February.
A statement released by the Public Safety Ministry says the overdose death rate in B.C. is still "significantly elevated," with 40.1 deaths per 100,000 residents in the first two months of this year.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh, who is out on bail in the Delhi liquor scam, held a press conference on Friday and accused the BJP of being behind the liquor scam.
He said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested under a conspiracy. He alleged that the investigating agency ED pressured TDP MP Manguta Reddy and his father Raghav Reddy to record statements against Kejriwal.
