Farmers tried to surround the vehicle by showing black flags in protest of BJP candidate Hansraj Hans, who had come to meet party workers in Faridkot. Due to this, the police stopped the farmers who came to ask questions outside the meeting place.

In view of the farmers' protest, security arrangements were made in large numbers for the meeting of BJP candidate Hansraj Hans. Police personnel and officials have also been deployed in the royal palace and surrounding areas. So that no untoward incident happens.

Farmer leaders gathered for the protest say that the BJP government at the center has not accepted the demands of the farmers and has also banned the peaceful demonstration. Farmers from Punjab were going to Ramlila Maidan in Delhi to stage a peaceful protest, but the farmers were stopped at the Haryana border.

Farmer leaders said that the farmers were subjected to torture which was never done before. Meanwhile, our young farmer was martyred. In such a situation, the way the central government has treated our farmers. We are going to treat BJP candidates in the same way. No BJP candidate will be supported in Punjab. All will be openly protested and questions will be asked about the steps taken against the farmers.
