British Columbia is reporting 634 new cases of COVID-19, for a total of 83,107 cases since the pandemic began in the province. Two people have been transported to hospital in serious but stable condition after a helicopter crash on Bowen Island, B.C. B.C. Emergency Health Services says in a statement that they received a call at about 10 a.m. Friday morning for reports of a downed helicopter on the island off the coast of West Vancouver.
