The judicial custody of senior Congress leader and former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu from Punjab's Ludhiana has been extended for 14 days. He was arrested by the ED on August 1 in the Jalandhar office after questioning in the case of a multi-crore transport scam in the Food and Supplies Department. A bus carrying dozens of Indian pilgrims drove off a highway Friday inNepal, leaving several people injured or missing.
