Bikram Singh Majithia Questions Punjab Police Over Sukhbir Badal Shooting Incident
Senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia has criticized the Punjab Police's handling of the Sukhbir Badal shooting incident. Majithia accused the police of attempting to shield Narayan Singh Chaura, the alleged attacker.
He pointed out that an FIR against Chaura was registered six and a half hours after the incident and framed in a manner that could facilitate bail.
Majithia further alleged that the police described the attacker as a devotee. He asserted that this FIR exposes the Punjab Police and the state government's biased actions.

Amritpal's Aide Granted Parole for Mother's Last Rites
Amritpal Singh's associate, Basant Singh, who was lodged in Dibrugarh jail, has been brought to Punjab on parole. Basant Singh is from Daulatpura village in Moga district, Punjab. His mother recently passed away.
The last rites of Basant Singh's mother were performed in the village under tight security. Authorities did not permit him to meet anyone during his visit. Basant Singh performed the last rites himself. Reports suggest that his mother passed away due to depression.

Farmers to March to Delhi on December 14: Sarwan Singh Pandher
A group of farmers, led by Sarwan Singh Pandher from the Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana, will march to Delhi again on December 14. The announcement was made by farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher during a press conference at the Shambhu border today.
On this occasion, farmer leader Tejveer Singh stated that the movement will complete 10 months on December 13, and a large gathering will be held on that day.

Shiromani Akali Dal Gears Up for Punjab Municipal Elections
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has begun preparations for the upcoming Municipal Corporation and Municipal Council elections in Punjab. The party plans to contest on its official election symbol.
To oversee the election process, SAD has appointed six observers. Senior leaders Bikram Singh Majithia and N.K. Sharma have also been assigned key responsibilities. This was confirmed by senior leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema.

Elections to 5 MCs, 44 councils on Dec 21, nominations begin today
Elections to five municipal corporations, 44 municipal councils, nagar panchayats and bypoll for 49 wards of urban civic bodies in Punjab will be held on December 21.
These elections, which will be fought on party symbols, will test the mettle of the Congress, AAP, SAD and the BJP.

Farmers Begin 'Delhi Chalo March' from Shambhu Border
Farmers began the 'Delhi Chalo March' from the Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana today at around 1 pm. However, after Haryana Police fired tear gas shells, 14 farmers were injured, including a prominent farmer leader.
Following the incident, the protesting farmers decided to postpone their foot march for the day. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher stated that due to the injuries sustained by some farmers, the group would return for today. Narayan Singh Chaura sent to 3-Day Police Remand
An Amritsar court has sent Narayan Singh Chaura, accused of attempting to shoot former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, to three-day police remand. The police had sought a seven-day remand but were granted only three days.
Reports suggest that Chaura had been visiting the Darbar Sahib for the past three days. Notably, Sukhbir Singh Badal was serving as a sevadar outside the Darshani Deodhi under religious punishment imposed by Sri Akal Takht Sahib at the time of the incident.

Farmers to March to Delhi Despite Police Opposition
