Case filed against Punjabi pop singer Sidhu Moose Wala, five cops
A criminal case has been filed against Punjabi pop singer Sidhu Moose Wala and five police personnel, after a video showing him shooting at a firing range went viral on social media. Punjab DGP Dinkar Gupta has also ordered the immediate suspension of DSP Headquarters, Sangrur Daljit Singh Virk in the matter. This comes amid nationwide lockdown as a precautionary measure to contain the spread of COVID-19. Earlier this year, a case was registered against Sidhu Moosewala and Mankirt Aulakh for allegedly promoting violence through a song uploaded on social media.

A lorry driver here has been voluntarily doing sanitisation work by spraying sodium hypochlorite liquid on roads and vehicles passing by since March 26. 71 Delhi Police personnel sent to quarantine
As many as 71 Delhi Police personnel were on Wednesday directed to be in quarantine after they came in contact with a head constable who tested positive for COVID19, police said. The head constable was posted with Delhi Police Special Cell.Earlier, on April 21 three police personnel posted in the Nabi Karim area of the national capital tested positive for COVID-19. As per the Union Health Ministry, 2,248 people in Delhi have tested positive for COVID-19, including 47 deaths. 611 persons have been cured in the national capital. Andhra man dies after police assault, cop suspended
A 35 year old man died allegedly after he was assaulted by police for violating lockdown norms here in Guntur Rural on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Shaikh Mohammed Ghouse. As the incident triggered protest here, Andhra Pradesh Police suspended Sub-Inspector D Ramesh of Sattenapalli Town Police Station as he had stopped the Ghouse at the check post. Man shot at after he coughs while playing Ludo in Greater Noida
Amid fears over the spread of COVID-19, a man was allegedly shot at for coughing while playing Ludo. The incident took place at Dayanagar village in Jarcha on Tuesday.
