India: Govt to hold next meet with farmers on Dec 9; MSP to continue: Tomar
After its fifth round of talks on Saturday with farmer group leaders remained inconclusive, the Centre announced another meeting on December 9.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar today reassured the agitating farmers that central government is ready to resolve all their issues.

Charitable Trust distributes medicines to protesting farmers at Singhu border
Amid the ongoing farmers' agitation against the newly enacted farm laws, members of Civilian Welfare Charitable Trust from Delhi's Daryaganj area on Friday distributed medicines to the farmers stationed at the Singhu (Delhi-Haryana) border. Drug peddler held with Codeine Phosphate worth Rs 4 lakhs in Mumbai
The Anti Narcotics Cell of Crime-Branch Crime Investigation Department (CBCID) on Saturday arrested a drug peddler after he was allegedly found to be in possession of Codeine Phosphate cough syrup bottles worth over Rs 4 lakhs in Mumbai's Shivaji Nagar area."The peddler was arrested and 2,053 Codeine Phosphate cough syrup bottles worth more than Rs 4 lakhs were recovered from him, in Shivaji Nagar area of Mumbai, Maharashtra," Anti Narcotics Cell, Ghatkopar unit, CBCID, Mumbai said in an official statement.Further investigation in the matter is underway.
