India reported 7,584 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours, more than 300 cases than yesterday, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday. Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health says the province has now recorded four cases of monkeypox. Dr. Deena Hinshaw says all four cases involve adults who are now self-isolating and helping health officials trace their close contacts. Hinshaw says the risk of the disease in Alberta remains low.
