International students Gaganpreet Singh and Jagdeep Singh have been sentenced to three years in prison and deportation after being convicted of a horrific hit-and-run incident in Surrey last year. Peel police have arrested a Punjabi youth, Kanwarjot Singh Manoria, in connection with threats to kill Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown. Police said the 29-year-old Manoria was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with making threats to kill or cause bodily harm.
