A Quebec man is expected to make a court appearance today in Laval to face charges of first-degree murder in the deaths of his children. A judge agreed to put off the arraignment until today for 45 year old Kamaljit Arora after both the Crown and a legal aid lawyer told court he's been in hospital and unable to communicate since his arrest Monday night. He is accused of killing his daughter and son, aged 13 and 11 respectively, whose bodies were found Monday evening in the family home in Laval. Quebec Police say two children are dead and a 46 year old man is under arrest after officers were called to a home north of Montreal. Police in Laval say an 11 year old boy and a 13 year old girl were taken to hospital where their deaths were confirmed. The suspect, who was also transported to hospital, will be questioned by investigators before an arraignment.
