Surrey police investigating fatal shooting in Fleetwood

Surrey RCMP say a man is dead following a shooting in Fleetwood Sunday evening.They say officers responded to a shooting call around 7:40 p.m. in front of a shopping complex at the corner of 152 Street and Fraser Highway. They say paramedics also attended and provided aid to a wounded man, but he died at the scene. A man has died after a confrontation with Vancouver police and the office that handles all cases of police-involved death or serious injury in British Columbia is investigating.
