The New Westminster Police Department is asking witnesses to come forward following an assault at the corner of 8th Street and Columbia Street In the early morning hours of January 22nd. Vancouver police have arrested a man suspected of an unprovoked attack against a 22-year-old woman outside a downtown hotel on New Year's Eve.
