Two young men from the same village of Hoshiarpur's Dasuha district died in a terrible road accident in America. The deceased men have been identified as 23-year-old Sukhjinder Singh and Simranjit Singh, residents of Turkana village. Both of them went to America two years ago to earn a living. They used to run a trailer together in America. Recently, while going to New Mexico from California, they were hit by a trolley coming from the wrong side on Highway No. 144. In order to ensure the conduct of free, fair and peaceful upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Punjab state has received 25 companies of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) for area domination and confidence-building measures. The 25 companies include five coys of Central Reserved Police Forces (CRPF), 15 coys of Border Security Force (BSF) and five coys of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
