Punjabi singer Afsana khan known for her hit tracks Titliyaan and Chandigarh Shehar released her debut Hindi track, ‘Saazish’. The song was released on ii music’s official Youtube channel. The lyrics of the track are written by Raja Sharma and composed by Teekay. The song features Punjabi film actress Sawan Rupowali, Rahul Jaittly and Preeto Sawhney, and it has been directed by Pramod Sharma Rana. Saazish deals with complex yet beautiful emotions.

Punjabi singer Gitaz is all set to return to the silver screen with director Jagdeep Sidhu’s film, Moh. Moh will mark Gitaz Bindrakhia's return to films after 8 years. Rumour has it that the film will be based on the life of legendary singer Surjit Bindrakhia. Any further information about the cast and production team has not been revealed yet. Gitaz marked his acting debut in the 2013 film Just U & Me, which was directed by Mandeep Chaahal. The shooting of much-hyped Punjabi film Qismat 2 has finally concluded in The UK. Director Jagdeep Sidhu shared pictures from the sets. The crew has wrapped up the shoot within days. As per sources, Qismat 2 is expected to release towards the end of 2021. The confirmation regarding the wrap also came from Canadian film and music video director, Sukh Sanghera. Sukh took to his social media handle and posted the news saying- 'And it's a wrap for shooting of Qismat 2."

Comedian actor Sugandha Mishra has been booked for allegedly flouting coronavirus norms during her wedding with her better half, actor comedian Sanket Bhosale at a resort in Punjab. The case was registered on Sugandha, the bridegroom's side, the owner of the resort and participants of the marriage after a video went viral showing a large gathering of people at the wedding in violation of COVID-19 norms. The marriage ceremony took place on April 26. The case was registered under Section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections

Punjabi singer actor Singga who made his debut with Pollywood film, Jorra- The second Chapter has recently released the poster of his upcoming film titled, Living With A Stranger. The teaser of this film will be out on May 7. This movie is helmed by Jasmin Maan, and penned by Father Saab. Alongside Singga, Navdeep Bajwa will be seen sharing the screen.
