Renowned actor Mushtaq Khan has passed away. Known for his performances in films including Welcome, Gadar, Aashiqui, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Mushtaq Khan had won the hearts of audiences with his acting. Mushtaq Khan had been undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai for the past 15 days. He had been battling cancer, which was diagnosed around five years ago. The disease reportedly returned recently, following which his health continued to deteriorate.

Police have arrested members of a gang allegedly involved in firing at the residence of Punjabi singer Gulab Sidhu in Barnala. According to Patiala Range DIG Kuldeep Singh Chahal, the incident took place during the intervening night of September 12 and 13, 2026, when motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire at the main gate of Gulab Sidhu’s house in village Chhanna. The song was uploaded to Sidhu Moosewala’s official YouTube channel at around 5:50 p.m. on Monday. It has received a strong response from fans within hours of its release. Within about six hours, the official video had crossed 1.8 million views, received more than 377,000 likes and garnered over 89,000 comments on YouTube. The Mansa Sessions Court has scheduled October 9 for the next hearing in the high-profile murder case of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and for arguments on an application seeking production warrants for gangster Anmol Bishnoi.
