After impressive performances in films like Stree and Chhichhore, Shraddha Kapoor is now all set to play the role of a naagin in an upcoming three-film series. Actor-singer Gippy Grewal shared a picture from the muhoorat shot of his under production film, Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi starring Neeru Bajwa as the lead actress. The movie is being shot in London. The release date of the movie has not been announced, but it is most likely to hit the theatres in 2021. Gippy and Neeru will also be seen together in yet another Punjabi film, Paani Ch Madhaani. Rajkummar Rao is one of the few Bollywood actors who has an array of unreleased films waiting to see the light of the day. Starting Chhalaang and Ludo which release in November, Rajkumar will start shooting the sequel of the hit film Badhaai Ho, now called Badhaai Do along with Bhumi Pednekar. It is indeed a proud moment for the Bachchan family and for India as well. For the first time, Bollywood actor-comedian Rajpal Yadav is playing a lead Sikh character in an underproduction Punjabi film, Mithu Singh Da Viah. The actor completed the shooting of the film in Patiala.The film will be a mix of Hindi and Punjabi dialect. Rajpal guarantees that the film will be a wholesome entertainment for the Punjabi audiences. This is Rajpal's third Punjabi film, with the other two being, Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh and R.S.V.P- Ronde Saare Vyah Picho. Anu Chaudhary plays the lead opposite Rajpal in this film. Anu has previously worked in many Punjabi music videos.

Alia Bhatt and Vijay Verma are all set to reunite after Gully Boy in a dark comedy tentatively titled as Darlings. The film is being produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. Darlings is expected to go on floors in January, 2021. Alia Bhatt will be seen playing Vijay Verma’s on-screen wife in the film. There have also been reports of actress Shefali Shah playing the role of Alia Bhatt’s mother in the film. This will mark the duo’s first project together.
