B Praak becomes a father
Punjabi music director and singer B Praak recently shared a picture of his firstborn Adabb Bachchan on his Instagram page. He and his wife Meera Bachchan welcomed their first born on July 16th. B Praak’s popularity in Bollywood rose after his debut song appeared in Akshay Kumar’s Bollywood film Kesari.

Big B turns to the Lord
While fans have been praying for the speedy recovery of superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, India for Covid- 19, the superstar himself took to social media to share a post dedicated to God.

The news regarding reopening of cinema halls in Australia has come as good news for Punjabi film industry. Ali Abbas Zafar’s next with Diljit Dosanjh
Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar of Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai fame is in talks with singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh for a film based on the riots of 1984. As per reports, the film might begin after the COVID situation gets better. Ali Abbas Zafar is expected to be creatively involved in the script apart from producing it. Interestingly, Diljit has already worked in a Punjabi film based on the same subject, the film went on to win a National Award in 2014.
