International celebrity Priyanka Chopra violated the UK’s Coivid-19 lockdown rules by visiting a salon their. The UK is under a total lockdown, possibly until mid-February, to curb the number of rising cases related to the new variant of the virus. The regulations state that ‘personal care services’, including salons and spas, must close.According to a report, Priyanka arrived at the salon with her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, and pet dog Diana at around 4.55pm. As per sources, actor Sonu Sood has turned his six-storey residential building into a hotel for COVID warriors. Apparently, the actor did not have the permissions in place from the BMC and the civic body has gone ahead to lodge a police complaint against him in Juhu police station. Under the Maharashtra Region and Town Planning Act (MRTP), Sonu Sood was required to take permission from the civic body. Sonu Sood however ensured that there are no irregularities and he has taken permission from the BMC, he is now awaiting clearance from Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA).

A PIL has been filed in Delhi High Court seeking removal of Amitabh Bachchan’s COVID-19 awareness caller tune since the actor himself suffered from the novel coronavirus in 2020. The petition, filed by Delhi resident and social worker Rakesh, said that the actor was enrolled to spread preventive measures while he and his family couldn’t escape it.
