Punjabi film 'Shooter', which is based on the life and crimes of notorious gangster Sukha Kahlwan, has finally got a release date. In 2020, former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh had ordered a ban on the film saying ‘it promotes violence, heinous crimes, extortion, threats and criminal intimidation. But after facing several roadblocks, the film, starring B Jayy Randhawa, Swalina, Vadda Grewal, Kanika Mann, is set to release in theatres on February 4, 2022.

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor tested positive for covid-19 on Wednesday. Also testing positive were his sibling Anshula Kapoor, cousin Rhea Kapoor, who got married not long ago, and Rhea's filmmaker hubby Karan Boolani. Arjun's girlfriend Malaika Arora will also undergo a test for the virus. Arjun, Anshula, Rhea and Karan are presently in isolation in their respective homes and are following all the precautions under the guidance of doctors. This is the second time that Arjun has got Covid. He had earlier tested positive back in September 2020, but recovered without complications.

Sahdev Dirdo, a 10-year-old boy who shot to fame after a video of him singing ‘Bachpan ka Pyaar’ song went viral on the Internet, got injured when the motorcycle on which he was riding pillion skidded on the road in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district, the police said. The boy was rushed to the district hospital and after preliminary treatment was shifted to Jagdalpur Medical College hospital. Oscar-nominated actor James Franco has acknowledged sleeping with students of an acting school he previously ran, saying he struggled with a sex addiction and has been working to improve his behaviour in recent years.
