Release of Diljit Dosanjh’s Punjab 95 postponed due to ‘uncontrollable circumstances’
The release of Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh’s highly anticipated film Punjab 95 has been postponed once again. According to Dosanjh, the film will no longer be released on February 7 as planned. Based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, the film was set for a global theatrical release on February 7, excluding India, without any cuts.
Dosanjh announced on Instagram: “We are deeply saddened to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, Punjab 95 will not be released on February 7.”
