The family of late Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda has announced plans to release his final film, Yamla. In a post shared on social media, the family said preparations for the release are underway and called the project a tribute to his enduring legacy.
In an emotional message, the family wrote that while an artist may leave the world, their art continues to live on. The announcement comes months after fans across Punjab and Canada remembered Jawanda for his contributions to Punjabi music and cinema.

Directed by Rakesh Mehta, Yamla was originally shot in 2019 across several locations, including Amritsar. The film stars Rajvir Jawanda alongside Saanvi Dhiman, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Harby Sangha, Raghveer Boli, and Navneet Kaur Dhillon. Bally Singh Kakkar produced the film.
A release date for Yamla has not yet been confirmed. The family is expected to share further details in the coming weeks.
