Delta police are searching for a driver who may have important information related to the investigation into the suspicious death of a woman whose body was recently found in a field. Police said emergency crews responded to a report of a fire in a field in the 6400-block of River Road at around 6:10 a.m. on Aug. 26. When they arrived at the scene, they discovered the body of a woman. Investigators are still working to identify the woman and determine the cause and circumstances of her death. The death toll from the devastating floods that hit Nepal and Tibet on August 26 has risen to 955. Nepal alone has reported 939 deaths, while the number of fatalities in Tibet has reached 16.
