Punjab BJP leader and Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing at the Center Ravneet Singh Bittu today meet the Governor of the state Banwari Lal Purohit.
Bittu said that the central government is receiving alarming reports about criminal and terrorist activities in the state and the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government is allowing the situation to worsen.
He said that the way criminals are roaming, there is a huge threat to the safety of ordinary citizens. He referred to the attack on Shiv Sena leader Sandeep Thapar in Ludhiana and the shooting incidents in various other cities.
It is to be noted that Ravneet Bittu lost the Lok Sabha elections from Ludhiana but BJP has made him a minister to represent Punjab.
