Trudeau's Resignation Won't Change Anything: Pierre Poilievre

Canada's main opposition leader, Pierre Poilievre, has criticized Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party.

In a recently released video, Poilievre argued that Trudeau's resignation would not bring any meaningful change, as every Liberal MP and potential leadership contender has supported Trudeau’s policies over the past nine years. He claimed they are now attempting to mislead voters by introducing a new Liberal leader, continuing to exploit Canadians for the next four years.

Poilievre stated that the only way to address Canada's challenges is through an election, where a Conservative government could restore Canada’s promise.

It is noteworthy that the Conservative Party had planned to introduce a no-confidence motion against the Trudeau government by late January. However, with Parliament’s proceedings suspended until March 24, there is currently no immediate risk of the government collapsing.
