The Supreme Court will pronounce its verdict on May 10 on the interim bail application of Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, who is lodged in Tihar Jail in the Delhi liquor scam case. Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal has challenged the arrest made by the ED in the Supreme Court. This issue will also be heard on the same day.
The Supreme Court had said in the previous hearing that if he is granted interim bail in view of the election campaign, he will not work as Chief Minister nor will he be allowed to sign any official file.
It may be noted that the ED arrested Arvind Kejriwal on March 21 as he was not cooperating with the investigation despite being summoned several times.
