The permits of 600 buses have been canceled by the Punjab government, 30 percent of them are said to belong to Sukhbir Badal. According to Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, these permits were issued against the rules between 2007 and 2017.
The Transport Minister said that the government has taken this action after a thorough investigation. This decision will benefit small transporters. They will be able to run their buses again.
