The ban on social media platform X in Pakistan entered the fourth week today. The government has not yet given any explanation as to why it has been banned.
According to information received, it was implemented to stop PTI's alleged propaganda of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The PTI had alleged that the PML-N party had rigged the general elections held on February 8 on a large scale.
It may be mentioned that the Sindh High Court had directed the citizens to restore access to X, but despite this, the services of X have been suspended for more than three weeks.
