The PMLA Court of Delhi can give its decision at any time on the remand of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, arrested in the Delhi liquor scam case. After 3 hours of hearing, the court has reserved the decision.
Kejriwal was produced in the court today at 2 pm. The hearing started at 2.15 pm and continued till 5.15 pm. ED has sought a 10-day remand of Kejriwal and described him as the mastermind of the case.
ED claims that Kejriwal wanted funds for elections in Punjab and Goa and out of the funds obtained from this scam, Rs 45 crore was used in Goa elections.
At the same time, Kejriwal's lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi questioned the ED's arrest and said that 80 percent of the people did not mention Kejriwal's name and they did not even say that they had ever met Kejriwal.
