The meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Donald Trump at the White House on Friday turned into a heated debate over the issue of Russia.
Zelensky raised concerns about Trump's soft stance toward Russia, which caused Trump to become visibly angry. He responded by saying that if Zelensky wanted him to be tough, he could be tougher than anyone else in the world, but that approach would prevent them from ever reaching an agreement.
During the discussion, Trump accused Zelensky of playing with the lives of millions and warned that he was playing with the possibility of World War III.
Vice President JD Vance was also present and told Zelensky that instead of thanking the US, he is disrespecting it. In response, the Ukrainian President said he had expressed his gratitude to Americans many times.
