Surrey Board of Trade to attend G20/B20 Summit in India from Aug 24-27

The President and CEO of the Surrey Board of Trade will travel to New Delhi for the G20/B20 summit as part of a summit organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce from August 24-27, 2023.

Surrey Board of Trade President Anita Huberman says the Surrey Board of Trade was the first board of trade/chamber of commerce to advocate for the Canada-India Free Trade Agreement.

India has officially taken over the G20 chairmanship from Indonesia on December 1, 2022.

Areas like supply chain resilience, energy, climate change, tech, digital transformation will be discussed in the G20/B20 summit.
