Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has removed Sikandar Singh Maluka from the party's disciplinary committee. Balwinder Singh Bhundar has been included in his place.

Two other members of this three-member committee include Mahesh Inder Grewal and Gulzar Singh Ranike. Earlier the chairman of the five member committee was Sikandar Singh Maluka.

It is worth mentioning that Maluka's daughter-in-law Parampal Kaur Sidhu was an IAS candidate during the Lok Sabha elections. She joined the BJP after resigning from the position of
