Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced on the occasion of Ram Naumi that when his government comes to Punjab, a memorial of Lord Ram will be built in Ghadam village in Patiala and this area will be developed as a holy historical city.

It is believed that this village is the maternal village of Lord Ram, his mother Kaushalya was from here. Sukhbir Singh Badal reached Patiala today to campaign for Akali Dal candidate NK Sharma. At the same time, BJP has welcomed the announcement of Sukhbir Singh Badal.
