Sukhbir Badal again writes to Jathedar Sri Akal Takht, appeals to decide on 'tankhaiya' at the earliest

Sukhbir Singh Badal has again written a letter to Jathedar Akal Takht Sahib and said that even though he has been declared a 'tankhaiya' person, the decision should be pronounced on him at the earlier.

Sukhbir has said in a letter written to the Jathedar that he has resigned from the post of president and now he wants to appear before Sri Akal Takht Sahib like a humble Sikh and a decision should be taken soon.

"I request you to declare Das as a salaried servant from Shri Akal Takht Sahib Ji, the supreme shrine of the Sikh community. Which has a deep impact on my mind. Das has now resigned from the post of president of Shiromani Akali Dal. Das wants to appear before Sri Akal Takht Sahib like a humble Sikh with humility and respect. Please accept Das's request," letter read.
