In the Delhi liquor scam case, the Supreme Court has refused to hold an immediate hearing to extend the bail of Arvind Kejriwal. The Chief Minister of Delhi had demanded to extend the bail for another 7 days on medical grounds.
His current bail expires on June 1. A bench of Supreme Court judges said that the decision to extend the interim bail will be taken by the Chief Justice.
At the same time, Delhi's Tis Hazari Court has rejected the bail plea of Arvind Kejriwal's PA Vibhav Kumar in the case of beating up his own Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal. Swati Maliwal had threatened the family from Vibhav Kumar.
