Shiromani Akali Dal has started 'Punjab Bachao Yatra' in Punjab. Before starting this journey from Attari, Sukhbir Singh Badal paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib and prayed.

On this occasion SGPC Members of the senior leadership of Akali Dal including President Advocate Dhami were present.

The purpose of this yatra started by the Akali Dal before the Lok Sabha elections is to tell the people of the state about the achievements of the previous Akali Dal government and to open the polls on the promises of the Aam Aadmi Party government.

The Shiromani Akali Dal says that nothing is being done by AAP in the state, the government has wasted 1500 crore rupees on advertising and its publicity.
