Sheetal Angural, an MLA from the Jalandhar West assembly constituency of Punjab, has resigned from the post of MLA a day after saying goodbye to AAP and joining the BJP.
Sheetal Angural has sent her resignation to Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhawan today. After submitting his resignation to the Assembly Speaker, he said on social media that he does not want to be a part of the corrupt AAP government.
It may be mentioned that Sheetal Angural was earlier a part of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Before the last assembly elections, he joined the Aam Aadmi Party and became an MLA defeating the Congress candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku. After that, Sushil Kumar Rinku became a Member of Parliament from the Aam Aadmi Party. In the past, both the leaders have taken hold of the BJP.
