A high school bus crashed into a house Thursday morning in Burnaby.

11 people were admitted to the hospital after the accident.

According to police, the accident happened around 8 a.m. in the area of Canada Way and 16th Avenue.

According to police, the school bus first collided with a vehicle and then crashed into a house.

At present, it is not known how the school bus collided with the vehicle.

According to the BC Emergency Health Service, six ambulances, a supervisor and a referral unit responded to the scene.

First responders hospitalized 11 people in stable condition.

According to the police, no one was seriously injured during this time.

The cause of the accident is not yet clear.

Police closed Canada Way between 17th Avenue and Graham Avenue.
