Robin Sampla, a close relative and nephew of BJP leader Vijay Sampla in Punjab, joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday.

Robin Sampla is SC of Punjab BJP. There was also the vice president of the front. According to sources, Robin Sampla is seeking a ticket from Jalandhar West assembly constituency, from which former AAP MLA Sheetal Angural has resigned after joining the BJP.

At the same time, Vijay Sampla is angry with the party for not getting a ticket for the Lok Sabha election from Hoshiarpur. Earlier, there was talk of him joining Shiromani Akali Dal, but BJP state president Sunil Jakhar persuaded him. However, till now Vijay Sampla has not restored the removed 'Modi Ka Parivar' tag from his social media account.
