Faridkot Lok Sabha trends have come out. Independent candidate Sarabjit Khalsa is leading with 38867 votes. Karamjit Anmol got 23875 votes, Amarjit Sahoke got 16234 votes and Rajwinder Singh got 15947 votes. BJP candidate Hans Raj Hans got only 7313 votes.

Let us tell that Faridkot Lok Sabha constituency came into existence in 1977 and at that time it included 9 constituencies of Faridkot, Kotakpura, Panj-Grai, Moga, Baghapurana, Muktsar, Malot, Giddarbaha and Lambi. At the time of 2009 elections, Faridkot Lok Sabha constituency was declared as reserve and it was converted into lower assembly constituencies.

Now this Lok Sabha constituency is divided into 9 assembly constituencies- Nihal Singhwala, Bagapurana, Moga, Dharamkot, Giddarbaha, Faridkot, Kotakpura, Jaito, Rampura Phool.

Two youth arrested after reported robbery at New Westminster’s Moody Park

New Westminster Police say two youth have been arrested following a reported robbery involving a child at Moody Park on Saturday evening.
