Surrey RCMP Property Crime Unit is requesting the public’s assistance with locating some prolific offenders who have made Santa’s naughty list this holiday season.(Photo - Surrey RCMP/Twitter)

Surrey RCMP Property Crime Unit is requesting the public’s assistance with locating some prolific offenders who have made Santa’s naughty list this holiday season.

This list is made up of individuals who currently have outstanding warrants, and who are known to be active in committing property crimes and related offences. We are asking for the public’s assistance in providing information that could assist police with locating and arresting these five.

If you see any of these individuals please do not approach them and contact the Surrey RCMP as soon as possible.

Jason Wood, 47-years-old

Wanted for: Two counts of fail to comply of probation

Marcel Duke, 27-years-old

Wanted for: Two counts of fail to comply with release order

Kris Larson, 29-years-old

Wanted for: Fail to comply with probation

Tyler Bennett, 32-years-old

Wanted for: Assault with a weapon and breach of undertaking

Prolific offenders account for a high percentage of property crimes and have a significant impact on public safety in our community, says Surrey RCMP Media Relations Officer Corporal Vanessa Munn. To the individuals on this list, we urge you to take this opportunity to start fresh in 2022, by turning yourselves in.

Surrey mayor asks Carney for a Surrey MP in cabinet

Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke has asked Premier Mark Carney to give the MP from Surrey a seat in his cabinet.
